Lamentations.
Lamentations.
Earthbound,
Born into flesh,
Separated from your Kingdom of Golden Ether,
By a great and terrible Vastness.
Earthbound,
Diminished senses imprisoning Immensity,
With Saturnian rings of limitation.
Seeing you only in vision,
A delirious dream,
Scorching my being, my every cell,
And setting my mind ablaze with sorrow.
Earthbound,
At infancy, hurled into battle,
Tossed and driven betwixt conflicting forces,
As vegetating mortality,
Constrained infinities vitality,
Caging Mercurial wings that sped me to thee.
Earthbound,
Seized by matter,
Fury storming for my stolen Paradise,
Loathing the Cosmic dams shattering,
That hurled my essence into clay.
Yet my soul remains wedded to thy eternal beauty.
And during the slumbers of night
When the borders of capacity are dissolved,
I am with thee in eternity.
Earthbound,
A solitary figure. haunting the night
Mesmerized by the shifting of blackened skies,
Memories of Thee roaring and curling
Like a sea of infernal sorrow,
I am fallen,
A Wandering, shadow filled vagabond cat,
howling my sorrow and grief at the luminous Moon.
